TENORS and BASSES ARE URGENTLY REQUIRED
FOR OUR REGULAR PRACTICE SESSIONS
AND FOR OUR REGULAR CONCERTS
We practice every Friday at the
Carpathia Hall on
38000 Utica Road in Sterling Heights at
7:30 pm
You are welcome to just listen to us
during practice.
Our Chorus will celebrate its 97th Anniversary this Month.
The choir is a member of the German
Saengerbund,
The Nord Amerikanischer Saengerbund,
and the
Michigan Saengerbezirk.
We organize and sing at a
Spring and at a
Fall Concert every year as well as singing at a
Michigan
Komerse.
Our Choir has close ties with a number of German Choirs and visits to
them and their return visits have fostered many friendships. We have
made trips
to various parts of Germany, Austria, Poland, the Czech Republic and to
Tyrol.
Our Chorus also organizes two very popular events every year.
The Fasching Costume Ball during the Mardi Gras Season and the
“Old World Christkindle Market”
The Choirs main focus remains our singing and contributing to special
festivities and church services.
It provides us with an opportunity to share a unique bond of fellowship
and joy in our German heritage.
